Marus began with a question: why is good design so rarely applied to the things we carry every day?

My name is Efnan. I've been surrounded by design my whole life — and for a long time, I couldn't find a bag that met the same standard I held for everything else. Beautiful materials. Quiet design. Craftsmanship that showed in the details even when no one else was looking.

So I built it.

Marus started with premium vegan leather and a single intention: to make pieces worth owning. We're now growing that collection to include genuine leather — same standard, different material. Every piece is handbuilt by craftspeople who take the time fast production never allows.

This is a design practice, not a trend cycle. We add to our catalogue slowly, deliberately, and only when something new genuinely earns its place.
